We hope that you, your families, and loved ones are staying safe during this difficult time. We wanted to provide an update on office policies and procedures that have been implemented to keep patients, staff, and their families safe.
- Televisits are no longer available as several insurance companies have ceased to cover them for our practice. Any urgent matters that occur after hours can always be managed by the physician on call if needed. They can be reached by calling the main office line and asking the answering service to request a call from the on call doctor.
- Waiting rooms have been rearranged to assist in social distancing and appointment scheduling has been modified to minimize the number of patients in the office at a particular time. We ask that you try to arrive as close to your scheduled appointment time to support social distancing.
- Our staff is sanitizing each examination room, including all high touch area and exam tables fully between patients. The front desk is also sanitizing regularly throughout the day in high touch areas.
- All patients and staff are required to wear a mask during their time in the office. For patients, if you do not have a mask, one will be furnished to you upon your arrival
- Temperature and symptom screening is performed daily on all staff, patients, and visitors who enter the office. Any staff with active symptoms of COVID-19 or a fever will be immediately referred to a local urgent care center. For patients who need to be seen and may exhibit these symptoms, they will be escorted immediately to a designated COVID-19 examination room to receive the medical care they need.
- New patients: please make your best effort to complete our new patient packet and submit digitally prior to your appointment, including all insurance information, to minimize unnecessary contact and time in the office.
